Keto Butter Coffee
You'll never want coffee any other way!
Delicious fat filled coffee that is sure to make your mornings great again!
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 tbsp Monkfruit Sweetener
I have received questions about Keto Butter Coffee more than a few times so I figured I would whip up a quick guide! You will absolutely love this coffee and will not want to go back to whatever you were doing before! Keto Butter Coffee is a great alternative to Bulletproof Coffee which I do not like because it is too sweet. If you want all of the same things as Bulletproof, you can add MCT oil or powder to this as well.
Start off by brewing your favorite coffee. I would highly recommend a medium roast coffee, possibly something flavored such as Vanilla Nut or Hazelnut. All of the amounts of the ingredients are based on a standard 12-16oz cup of coffee, so just double, triple or quadruple for however many people you are making it for!
Pour your coffee in to a blender – why a blender? You need to emulsify (blend) the fat in to your coffee, this just won’t happen by stirring.
Add 2tbsp of butter, 2-4 tbsp of heavy whip (depending on how dark you like your coffee) and 1 tbsp of Lakanto Classic White (or your favorite low carb sweetener).
Blend on low until butter appears melted, you will be able to see when chunks disappear, then crank up to high for 30 seconds.
Pour and ENJOY!
PS. Keto Butter Coffee is great to get your digestive tract moving, I would recommend that you drink it knowing you will be somewhere you are comfortable with using the restroom in. This may seem like TMI, but #themoreyouknow!
Whip it up!
Pour desired amount of cups in to blender. Add 2 tbsp of butter, 2 tbsp of heavy whip and 1 tbsp of Lakanto Classic White (or your favorite sugar-free sweetener) for each of the desired amount of cups you are going to make.
Blend slowly at first for 10 seconds or so and then crank it up to high for 30 seconds. When blended nicely, pour into cups and gulp down the goodness!
